The role centres on strong communication, relationship building, and helping disabled people understand their funding and use it in ways that best support their needs.
This position may be based in Tauranga or Hamilton. The role involves travel across the region and into surrounding areas as required to support clients. A work-use vehicle will be provided to help you carry out the job.
What you will do

- Make sure each client has goals in place and that these are connected to their support plan.
- Build and sustain productive working relationships with internal teams and outside stakeholders.
- Establish and keep up to date client records, home files, and other documentation systems.
- Assist clients and agents with paperwork and administrative tasks.
- Keep in contact with NASC, clients, and other relevant parties.
What you need
Suitable candidates will bring relevant experience or a tertiary qualification in disability, health, or business areas such as BSc Social Science, BCom, or registration as a health professional. You should be able to create support plans that help clients work toward their goals, and have a solid understanding of New Zealand employment law, health and safety, privacy, and tax legislation.
You will also need a good grasp of Individualised Funding and Enhanced Individualised Funding, especially how these models affect purchasing decisions. A full New Zealand driver licence is required, along with flexibility to travel when needed.
