Job description
Role overview
This is a senior leadership opportunity for someone in the United States who can shape and expand the learning and enablement approach across customers, partners, and internal teams in a complex healthcare technology setting. The focus is on helping users understand a data-driven platform, adopt it successfully, and gain measurable value from it at scale.
The role blends long-term strategy with practical execution across onboarding, certification, and ongoing education. You will work closely with Product, Customer Success, and senior leadership to keep training aligned with product changes and customer outcomes. A major part of the job is converting sophisticated healthcare and value-based care ideas into training that is easy to follow and useful in practice. You will also develop the systems that support scalable learning, such as LMS planning, content repositories, and certification tracks.
Key accountabilities
- Set and direct the company-wide training and enablement approach for customers, partners, and internal teams.
- Own the new customer onboarding journey, including learning paths tailored to specific roles and milestones tied to adoption.
- Create and grow certification programs that confirm competency for both external and internal users.
- Develop a scalable self-paced learning environment, including LMS direction, content libraries, and digital learning materials.
- Lead instructional design work that turns complex healthcare processes and data systems into clear, structured learning experiences.
- Coordinate with Product and Implementation teams so training aligns with release schedules and go-live plans.
- Embed learning into product launch planning to improve readiness for new releases.
- Build internal training for Customer Success, Implementation, and operations teams to speed up productivity.
- Establish KPIs and measurement methods to evaluate training effectiveness, engagement, certification progress, and customer adoption impact.
- Manage and coach a small group of instructional designers or training specialists while putting scalable operating processes and governance in place.
- Use user research and workflow analysis to keep training relevant and continuously improved.
- Serve as a strategic partner to executive stakeholders in Product, Growth, and Clinical leadership.
Requirements
- More than 10 years of experience in training, enablement, or customer education, with substantial exposure to enterprise SaaS or health IT.
- At least 5 years working in healthcare technology settings such as population health, EHR, or care management platforms.
- Strong understanding of value-based care, CMS programs, and healthcare operating workflows.
- Demonstrated ability to design and deliver large-scale internal enablement and external customer education programs.
- Deep instructional design capability, including hands-on use of LMS platforms and modern content-authoring tools such as Articulate and Camtasia.
- Experience creating onboarding programs, certification paths, and role-based learning curricula.
- Knowledge of product release cycles and how to weave enablement into go-to-market execution.
- Solid operational rigor with experience defining KPIs, governance structures, and repeatable training processes.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to tailor messages for clinical, technical, operational, and executive audiences.
- Proven leadership ability, including managing or mentoring small teams.
- Ability to simplify complex healthcare and data-oriented concepts into practical learning content.
- Experience working in fast-moving, high-growth environments with changing product and customer needs.
Benefits
- Competitive annual salary in the range of $150,000 to $200,000.
- Flexible, remote-friendly work setup.
- Opportunity to define enterprise training strategy within a fast-growing healthcare technology business.
- Strong emphasis on professional growth and ongoing learning.
- Collaboration with teams across Product, Clinical, and Customer Success.
- Purpose-driven culture centered on improving healthcare outcomes through technology and data.
- Access to modern learning and enablement tools.
- Inclusive environment with diverse, employee-led community efforts.
- Chance to build and scale a high-impact enablement function from the ground up.
