Role Overview

We are seeking a Director for Solution Sales Engineering to be part of our global sales team, based in New Zealand. This role will focus on leading technical sales efforts within the Pacific region, particularly supporting sales through expert technical guidance and thought leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical support aspects of the sales process, providing leadership to the sales organization.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and industry thought leader for Mobile Network Operators' (MNOs) technical managers.
  • Create comprehensive solution documentation including detailed diagrams and descriptions to showcase benefits of our RAN and related products.
  • Stay current with industry technology trends via independent learning and formal training programs.
  • Serve as the regional expert on Parallel Wireless' products and industry developments.
  • Effectively communicate client requirements to internal teams responsible for development, deployment, and support of our solutions.
  • Develop technical sales content and materials to engage customers.
  • Support sales and marketing objectives both locally within the region and globally.
  • Maintain and expand relationships with key technical stakeholders, fostering partnerships with existing and prospective MNOs.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years professional experience in Solution Sales Engineering, specifically working with MNOs.
  • Thorough expertise in Radio Access Network (RAN), OSS, and Core network technologies spanning 2G, 4G, and 5G systems is essential.
  • In-depth knowledge of the cellular network industry and Mobile Network Operators is mandatory.
  • Proven excellence in verbal and written communication, including preparation and delivery of high-quality presentations and proposals.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex information and influence client perspectives.
  • Capable of independently managing multiple initiatives and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines effectively.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel up to 30% within the region to engage with clients.
