Role Overview
This is a senior executive opportunity for a leader in the United States who can shape and deliver the commercial direction of a fast-growing business unit in the indoor air quality space. The position carries end-to-end responsibility for sales, planning, and development, including ownership of the full profit and loss statement, revenue growth, and long-term profitability.
You will guide teams across Sales, Customer Service, Planning, and Product Development, making sure strategy, execution, and financial goals stay aligned. The role also involves influencing product direction, commercial launch plans, and organizational structure while building a strong, results-driven culture. At this level, you will work closely with engineering, marketing, supply chain, and outside stakeholders to support scalable growth in a complex, matrixed environment.
Accountabilities
- Direct the complete Sales, Planning, and Development function with accountability for business results, P&L ownership, and top-line growth targets.
- Create and roll out sales and marketing plans that grow market share, improve channel performance, and stimulate demand across multiple customer groups.
- Establish a high-performance environment by setting priorities, defining measurable KPIs, and reinforcing accountability across the organization.
- Lead organizational growth efforts, including hiring, succession planning, and capability development for both leadership and operational roles.
- Work across Engineering, Product Development, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Government Affairs to ensure strategy and execution remain connected.
- Manage financial planning and performance, with attention to profitability, cost discipline, and smart investment decisions.
- Steer commercialization efforts for new products and keep market requirements, product roadmap, and operational delivery aligned.
- Review market movements, competitive activity, and customer insights to guide strategic choices and long-term expansion plans.

Requirements
- At least 10 years of progressive leadership experience in sales, business development, or commercial operations, preferably in manufacturing, HVAC, consumer products, or similar industries.
- Demonstrated success in owning a full P&L and delivering strong revenue growth in a competitive environment.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing senior leaders within a matrixed organization.
- Strong knowledge of go-to-market planning, channel strategy across retail, wholesale, and e-commerce, and approaches to market expansion.
- Solid financial skills, including budgeting, forecasting, ROI analysis, and investment planning.
- Proven ability to lead change and develop high-performing teams.
- Strong strategic judgement and data-based decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills and executive presence, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience partnering with product, engineering, and supply chain teams to align commercial priorities with operational execution.
- Bachelor’s degree is required; an MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary range of $230,000 to $260,000 per year.
