Since inception, Pearpop has been recognized among Fast Company's Most Innovative Companies and named Digiday's Best Influencer Marketing Platform.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Director of Talent Management to join our expanding Talent team. Reporting directly to the VP of Talent Management, this senior leadership role involves overseeing a select high-profile creator roster and mentoring Talent Managers and Senior Talent Managers to enhance overall team performance, establish operational best practices, and collaborate cross-functionally to achieve outstanding results for creators and brands alike.

This fully remote role is open for candidates outside Los Angeles, while LA-based employees follow a hybrid schedule, working three days per week at our Santa Monica headquarters.

Compensation includes a competitive salary plus equity, comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, unlimited paid time off, and opportunities to influence the future of creator representation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and guidance to Talent Managers and Senior Talent Managers to elevate team capabilities and foster a collaborative, high-achieving culture.
  • Collaborate with the VP of Talent Management to implement strategic team initiatives, operational improvements, and best practices.
  • Manage a portfolio of notable digital creators and influencers, negotiating complex brand partnerships, long-term collaborations, licensing deals, and revenue-generating projects.
  • Develop and execute long-term growth strategies aimed at maximizing creators' revenue streams and career progression.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with brands, agencies, platforms, and industry partners to identify opportunities for roster expansion and new business ventures.
  • Guide creators in developing new intellectual property and business initiatives from concept through implementation.
  • Oversee forecasting, CRM systems, pipeline reporting, contract execution, payment tracking, and campaign management to ensure operational excellence.
  • Enhance internal workflows and operational processes to boost team efficiency.
  • Work closely with Business Development, Client Services, Operations, Product, Finance, Legal, and Leadership teams to deliver exceptional creator experiences and share market insights influencing strategic decisions.
  • Remain informed about trends in the creator economy, social media platforms, emerging technologies, and brand marketing to maintain Pearpop's leadership in creator representation.
  • Represent Pearpop Talent with thought leadership and participation in cultural and industry events.

Qualifications and Experience

  • At least 6 years of experience in talent management, creator representation, influencer marketing, or equivalent fields.
  • Demonstrated management of a creator roster generating monthly gross merchandise value exceeding $200,000.
  • Proficient leadership abilities, including mentoring and coaching high-performing talent management teams.
  • Extensive experience managing six- and seven-figure creator businesses and negotiating high-value partnerships.
  • Proven success in acquiring and retaining top-tier creators.
  • Strong strategic mindset to balance daily execution with long-term growth and business development.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills with a history of closing complex partnerships to optimize revenue.
  • Highly organized with expertise in CRM management, forecasting, and operational discipline.
  • Passionate about the creator economy, social platforms, influencer marketing, and digital culture.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive annual salary between $150,000 and $175,000, supplemented by an uncapped commission structure.
  • Equity participation opportunity.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
  • 401(k) retirement plan.
  • Unlimited paid time off.
  • Professional development support.
