Job description

Role overview

This position calls for a strategic, hands-on supply chain leader to oversee the full end-to-end operation, including demand and supply planning, inventory control, procurement, logistics, and supply chain systems. The role is central to making sure the right product reaches the right location at the right time and at the right cost.

You will create and guide a strong planning team, while putting in place the systems, processes, and performance measures needed to support business growth. It is a chance to influence the direction of a scaling, mission-driven organization while still being close to day-to-day problem solving.

What you'll lead

  • Own the Sales & Operations Planning process from end to end, aligning demand inputs, production capacity, and inventory targets into one workable plan.
  • Maintain 100% OTIF performance, investigate the causes of service issues, and coordinate corrective action with other teams.
  • Improve inventory positioning, manage strategies for raw materials and packaging, and direct procurement for key inputs.
  • Oversee inbound and outbound transportation, carrier partnerships, and compliance for cross-border movement of goods.
  • Advance supply chain systems and technology, protect master data accuracy, and create dashboards that give leadership clear operational visibility.
  • Recruit, lead, coach, and develop a high-performing supply chain team with a strong culture of ownership and continuous improvement.

What the employer is looking for

  • An undergraduate degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related discipline is required; an MBA or SCMP designation is considered an asset.
  • At least 10 years of supply chain experience, ideally in the food sector, including 5 or more years in a leadership capacity.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP platforms such as SAP or NetSuite, supply chain planning tools, and data analysis.
  • Background in 3PL management, co-manufacturing, and cross-border logistics is needed.
  • A leader who combines strategic thinking with operational execution and communicates effectively across functions.

Why this role stands out

  • Competitive compensation package with full benefits, a health spending account, and RRSP/DPSP matching.
  • Opportunity to shape the supply chain function within a growing company with a clear mission.
  • Collaborative workplace grounded in shared values.
  • High-impact responsibility with strong visibility and accountability.
