Role Summary

Reporting directly to the CEO and Co-Founder, the Director of Recruiting will lead the clinical talent acquisition strategy for BlueChew and MOD. This leadership position focuses on building and refining the complete recruitment process for clinical roles such as Nurse Practitioners (NPs), Registered Nurses (RNs), Medical Assistants, and medical administrative teams.

This role requires balancing the dynamic pace of a tech startup with the rigorous demands of healthcare and medical compliance. Collaboration with executive leadership and clinical directors is essential to effectively grow our licensed provider network without compromising care standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with the CEO to synchronize clinical hiring objectives with overall company growth, patient volume increases, and product launches.
• Develop forecasting models to predict provider staffing needs across multiple states and licensing regulations, based on patient demand patterns.
• Define and monitor critical hiring metrics such as Time-to-Fill, Cost-per-Hire, Provider Conversion Rate, 90-Day Retention, and Credentialing Speed.
• Design and execute multichannel sourcing approaches to recruit top Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, and administrative personnel.
• Handle high-volume and specialized recruitment campaigns for telehealth clinicians, ensuring candidates meet standards of clinical excellence, digital empathy, and technical skills.
• Supervise recruitment processes compliant with complex multi-state licensing laws, including Compact Nursing licenses and NP practice regulations.
• Collaborate with Operations to guarantee swift verification of professional credentials and background checks during hiring.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, Business, Communications, Psychology, or a related field.
• More than 10 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, including at least 3 years in senior leadership focusing on healthcare, clinical, or telemedicine recruitment.
• Proven success in scaling remote clinical teams, specifically Nurse Practitioners and RNs, across multiple states.
• In-depth knowledge of medical licensing frameworks, including multi-state Compact rules, NP collaborative agreements, and primary source verification procedures.
• Experience interfacing directly with executive leadership to communicate data insights, pipeline status, and strategic planning.
• Strong proficiency with ATS selection, integration, and optimizing automated sourcing methods.
• Emotional intelligence and negotiation skills to balance competitive compensation and cost management for specialized medical hires.
