Role Overview
The Director of Program Management is a full-time, remote position charged with managing intricate insurance-related programs from start to finish. The role involves establishing program goals, ensuring project alignment with the company's strategic vision, and coordinating efforts among cross-functional teams to achieve deadlines and maintain quality standards. Responsibilities include budget management at the program level, tracking performance indicators, delivering progress updates to senior leadership, and proactively identifying risks along with mitigation strategies. Qualifications
- Proven expertise in managing complex programs and projects involving multiple workstreams.
- Strong leadership abilities encompassing mentoring, performance oversight, and collaboration across diverse teams.
- Experience in financial management including budgeting and cost control for programs.
- Advanced skills in strategic planning to set priorities, develop roadmaps, and align initiatives with business objectives.
- Background in insurance or financial services, with knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance matters.
- Exceptional communication skills for managing stakeholders and reporting to executives.
- Comfort and proficiency operating within a remote work framework, with excellent organizational and time management capabilities.
- A bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related discipline is required; postgraduate degrees such as an MBA are advantageous.
- Familiarity with contemporary project and program management tools like Jira, Asana, and MS Project, and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
