Job description
Role overview
This opportunity is posted on behalf of a partner organization that will handle applications and all hiring steps. The employer is seeking a Director of Professional Services in the United States to lead a high-impact function that shapes how enterprise software is delivered at scale.
In this position, you will direct the full Professional Services organization and influence how customers are onboarded, implemented, and helped to realize value in complex, highly regulated settings. The role bridges delivery, product, and engineering, and calls for a leader who can turn operational execution into a strategic growth lever. You will be responsible for creating a delivery model that scales while balancing speed, quality, and customer outcomes. The work environment is fast-paced, highly collaborative, and centered on continuous improvement and innovation. Success means improving time-to-value, strengthening team performance, and making delivery more consistent and effective.
Key accountabilities
- Take ownership of the full Professional Services delivery system, including technical delivery, PMO, and solutions consulting.
- Build and roll out a repeatable operating model that improves the speed, predictability, and quality of implementations across customers.
- Set, monitor, and act on delivery KPIs such as CSAT, time to implementation, utilization, and delivery efficiency.
- Partner closely with Product and Engineering so delivery processes stay aligned with product architecture and roadmap changes.
- Spot friction in current delivery workflows and run fast experiments to improve results.
- Redesign structure, roles, and incentives so the organization is focused on accountability and measurable business impact.
- Create clear executive visibility into delivery performance, risks, and operational health to support strategic decisions.
- Coach and develop a strong management bench so leaders can independently drive outcomes and scale the team.
- Adopt modern tools, including AI-supported workflows, to rethink how delivery work is performed at scale.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience in SaaS Professional Services, enterprise software delivery, or implementation leadership.
- At least 3 years of experience managing managers and leading multi-level delivery teams.
- A demonstrated history of improving delivery operations to raise efficiency, speed, and customer satisfaction while maintaining quality.
- Strong background working with Product and Engineering teams in technically complex environments.
- Solid understanding of SaaS implementation cycles, enterprise rollouts, and recurring revenue business models.
- Strong people leadership skills with the ability to coach, develop, and scale high-performing managers.
- Comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-changing settings with an action-oriented and experimental mindset.
- High comfort level with AI and an interest in using technology to redesign and optimize delivery processes.
- Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills across all levels of the organization.
- Experience using Professional Services Automation tools and delivery analytics.
- Experience in fintech, financial services, or other regulated industries is strongly preferred.
- Ability to balance long-term strategy with hands-on operational execution.
Perks and benefits
- Fully remote, flexible work setup from anywhere.
- Competitive compensation with base pay and stock options.
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
- Flexible PTO to support rest and recovery.
- Two company off-sites each year in international locations.
- Home office stipend to help set up remote work.
- Travel and coworking budget for collaboration and professional growth.
- Direct opportunity to shape product delivery strategy and company growth.
- Strong emphasis on AI adoption and innovation in daily work.
- Inclusive, mission-led culture focused on customer impact and continuous improvement.
