Position Overview
The Director of People Operations will spearhead Springbone's comprehensive people strategy, heading initiatives in learning and development, leadership training, workforce planning, compliance adherence, and organizational growth across all sites. Acting as a strategic partner to executive leadership, this role aligns workforce management practices with the organization's culture, expansion objectives, and operational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all facets of human resources and people operations including employee relations, talent acquisition, compensation and benefits strategy, compliance, leadership development, workforce analytics, and organizational effectiveness.
- Oversee and guide the broader People Operations team ensuring scalable systems and a positive employee experience.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement strategic people initiatives and ensure alignment with business priorities.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum five years in leadership roles managing HR or People Operations teams.
- Proven experience designing strategic leadership and learning & development programs.
- Expertise in crafting company-wide people strategies and organizational development initiatives.
- Strong leadership, coaching, team-building, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities.
- Highly developed analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws and compliance matters.
- Experience with HRIS, payroll systems, and workforce management software.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
- Background in multi-unit restaurant, hospitality, retail, or service sector environments preferred.
