About the Company
This fast-growing, technology-oriented professional services firm is looking for a Director of Operations to work closely with the Founder and support the business through its next phase of expansion.
About the Role
This position goes beyond a conventional operations function. The ideal candidate is someone who naturally builds systems, values accountability, and enjoys shaping organizations that can grow efficiently. You will act as the operational partner to a founder with a strong vision, turning concepts into action while putting in place the structure, discipline, and consistency needed for sustainable growth. If you like bringing order to complexity and strengthening people, processes, and teams, this role may be a fit.
Operational Leadership
- Oversee day-to-day business operations across all departments.
- Create scalable frameworks and standardized procedures.
- Strengthen organizational design and improve operational performance.
- Keep company priorities moving with steady execution.
- Promote accountability throughout the leadership group.
Process Improvement
- Review existing workflows and remove bottlenecks and waste.
- Set up and manage operational scorecards and key performance indicators.
- Enhance project management follow-through and visibility.
- Put systems in place that improve consistency and predictability.
- Find opportunities to use automation and AI across the organization.
Leadership & Accountability
- Guide managers on performance standards and ownership expectations.
- Ensure leaders follow through on commitments and measurable goals.
- Help build a culture centered on responsibility and ongoing improvement.
- Handle performance concerns early, directly, and professionally.
- Lead challenging discussions with clarity and consistency.
Strategic Execution
- Work directly with the Founder to set priorities and sequence initiatives.
- Convert the company’s strategic direction into practical action plans.
- Align teams and functions so everyone is working toward the same outcomes.
- Build operational capacity so leadership can focus on growth instead of daily oversight.
Client & Business Excellence
- Improve client delivery workflows and quality assurance practices.
- Strengthen oversight of projects and elevate the customer experience.
- Track operational data and resolve issues before they affect clients.
- Create systems that support scalability and long-term enterprise value.
Qualifications
The company is seeking someone who has helped build systems in entrepreneurial or founder-led businesses that are growing quickly. A strong command of operational metrics and overall business performance is important, along with a track record of guiding organizational change. Experience with EOS or a comparable operating framework is strongly preferred. The role also calls for excellent communication, strong leadership, sound judgment, and high emotional intelligence. A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Compensation
The salary offered for this position is a base pay of $140,000, plus a performance-based bonus.
