Role Summary

The Director of Operations is a full-time remote position responsible for ensuring the smooth running of daily operations and the timely, high-quality delivery of client projects. The position covers operational planning, allocation of resources, and workflow improvement across consulting engagements, with a strong emphasis on client satisfaction and ongoing process enhancement. The role will lead cross-functional teams, set and track performance indicators, and put in place effective operating policies, procedures, and best practices. It also includes budget oversight, financial performance management, risk identification, and recommending improvements that strengthen efficiency and service delivery. In addition, the role involves partnering closely with senior leadership on strategic priorities, contributing to business development efforts, and helping maintain a culture built on accountability, openness, and ethical conduct.

Qualifications

  • Proven strength in operations leadership, including process creation, performance tracking, and continuous improvement.
  • Strong ability to analyze data, evaluate operational results, and guide decisions using evidence.
  • Hands-on experience leading teams, including coaching, monitoring performance, and encouraging collaborative and inclusive working styles.
  • Solid budgeting and financial planning capability, with the ability to manage costs and support sustainable operations.
  • Strong customer service orientation, with experience handling client expectations and developing lasting relationships.
  • Background in management consulting, professional services, or a similar environment is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and change management abilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree or professional certification such as PMP, Lean, or Six Sigma is an added advantage.
  • Ability to work productively in a remote setup, supported by strong organization and time-management skills.
