- Own operational KPIs such as vehicle availability and downtime, repair and maintenance costs per vehicle, pickup and return productivity, and service quality metrics (e.g., NPS/SQS).
- Identify and implement corrective actions for any KPI deviations and monitor their outcomes.
- Maintain transparent communication regarding risks and operational challenges.
- Manage operational budgets for Germany, coordinating with commercial and pricing teams for topline alignment and working closely with finance and controlling for forecasts, variances, and efficiency improvements.
- Lead and develop the operational management structure including regional managers, ensuring defined responsibilities, decision-making paths, and escalation procedures.
- Build a strong performance and feedback culture at both station and regional levels.
- Continuously optimize operational processes within the customer journey, including pickup, return, and fleet care, while standardizing operations to minimize complexity.
Requirements
- Several years in a high-level operational leadership role within a decentralized environment.
- Proven track record managing operational KPIs, budgets, and cost control.
- Experience in operations, fleet management, or asset-related business models.
- Leadership experience across multiple sites.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capability.
- Effective execution skills combined with a clear, hands-on approach.
- Excellent communication proficiency in a matrix organizational structure.
- Willingness for regular travel within Germany and to the company headquarters in Munich or Frankfurt.
Compensation
The salary range for this role is between 70,000 EUR and 140,000 EUR gross per annum. Salary levels will be discussed and finalized during the hiring process based on qualifications and experience, with annual reviews thereafter.
