Role Overview
This senior leadership position will oversee operational performance, governance, and continuous enhancement across core UK contracts and our technology platform. You will manage a team of three direct reports and act as the vital link between executive leadership and operational execution, ensuring scalability while upholding superior service standards, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership across multiple operational contracts, monitoring key performance indicators and fleet efficiency to drive ongoing improvements.
- Maintain and grow senior client relationships, lead contract retention initiatives, support tender submissions, and guide commercial negotiations.
- Manage budgets across contracts with shared P&L accountability alongside the CFO.
- Serve as the operational liaison for the Routd platform, influencing product development with practical client and operational insights.
- Promote quality, risk management, and compliance activities, including contributions to ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
- Lead and develop Operations Managers through coaching, performance reviews, recruitment, and workforce planning.
- Prepare executive-level reports to inform strategic business decisions.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum five years of operational leadership experience managing multiple sites, contracts, or business units.
- Demonstrated history of leading and developing managerial teams.
- Strong commercial understanding, including experience with tenders, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations.
- Familiarity with quality assurance frameworks and compliance programs.
- Background in logistics, transportation, facilities management, contract catering, or service delivery.
- Experience with digital transformation initiatives.
