The team emphasizes expert guidance, strong client service, and a collaborative, energetic culture where motivated self-starters can thrive.

Role Overview

The Director of Operations & Sales plays a dual leadership role that combines backend operational excellence with sales performance oversight. This position is responsible for improving systems, protecting standards, supporting transaction flow, and driving revenue growth through agent coaching, lead management, and accountability.

Operations Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain systems for sellers, buyers, lead generation, database management, information handling, and back-office support.
  • Create and update team manuals, process documentation, and internal workflow templates.
  • Track contracts from execution through closing and help ensure documentation moves efficiently through the transaction process.
  • Keep leadership informed about business performance, budget changes, operational obstacles, and overall system health.
  • Maintain high service standards across every operational and client-facing touchpoint.

Sales Leadership Responsibilities

  • Hold agents accountable through regular production check-ins, pipeline reviews, and coaching conversations focused on conversion and lead generation goals.
  • Monitor key sales metrics such as lead-to-appointment, appointment-to-agreement, and pending contract activity to support forecasting.
  • Oversee lead routing, CRM usage, database quality, and follow-up compliance to improve marketing return on investment.
  • Develop and deliver ongoing sales training, including role-playing, script practice, objection handling, and new-agent onboarding.
  • Work with team leadership to align operations with seasonal campaigns, client appreciation activities, and local marketing efforts.

Behavioral Traits and Core Strengths

  • Strong focus on task completion, urgency, and keeping work moving without unnecessary delays.
  • Ability to solve complex operational problems using structured thinking and systems-based approaches.
  • Flexible in working with others while still safeguarding procedures and standards.
  • Data-driven leadership style that favors analysis and consultation before action.
  • Awareness of business risks and the ability to spot issues before they grow.
  • Friendly, confident, and relationship-oriented communication style.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required.
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Real estate license is preferred.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in human resources or management.
  • 3 to 5 years of administrative experience, ideally in real estate.

Additional Role Details

  • This is a full-time, in-person position based in Knoxville, TN.
  • The role may involve up to 25% travel, which is preferred.
  • Compensation starts at $55,000 per year.
  • Benefits include health insurance and paid time off.
