Job description

Role Overview

PreBorn! is looking for a Christ-centered, highly motivated, and outcomes-driven director to guide its Center for Excellence. In this role, you will help raise the quality of care across PreBorn!’s network of clinic partners while working from a new, state-of-the-art training facility in Whitestown, Indiana. The position reports to the VP of Programs and supports the mission of equipping pregnancy clinics to save babies, serve mothers, and point lives to Christ.

About PreBorn!

PreBorn! is a national grant-making organization focused solely on pregnancy clinics across the United States, with a small number of international partners as well. The organization supports clinics through training, consulting, and equipment so they can better serve women, protect unborn babies, and share the message of Christ. It is a faith-based nonprofit that values excellence, innovation, efficiency, and a diverse team united by its mission.

What You Will Lead

The director will set the strategic direction for training and development programs that strengthen clinic operations, leadership capability, clinical effectiveness, and evangelism. This role is expected to build scalable learning initiatives, improve engagement across the network, and create a culture of continuous development and excellence.

Character and Faith Expectations

This position requires strong alignment with PreBorn!’s Statement of Faith and Code of Christian Conduct. The ideal candidate is a committed believer in Jesus Christ, lives in a growing evangelical walk, and is willing to pray and intercede for the ministry. The organization is seeking someone whose personal values and professional conduct reflect its mission.

Qualifications

Candidates should bring significant leadership experience, a strong work ethic, and a passion for high-quality training. A bachelor’s degree in Education, Organizational Development, Leadership, or a related area is required, while a master’s degree is preferred. Certifications in training and development, instructional design, adult learning, or similar areas are considered beneficial. The role also calls for someone who is collaborative, proactive, self-directed, highly organized, and comfortable adapting to different audiences and learning styles.

Experience and Technical Strengths

Applicants should have a proven history of creating and expanding effective training programs and running multiple training events in a corporate setting. Experience with learning management systems, instructional design methods, data analysis, public speaking, and healthcare-related technology is important. Strong Microsoft Office skills and flexibility in changing organizational environments are also needed.

Key Responsibilities

The director will work closely with senior leadership to shape growth strategy, review organizational needs, assess industry challenges, and support compliance with applicable rules and guidelines. The role also includes collaboration on budgeting, planning calendars, fundraising, and marketing efforts, as well as developing partnerships that broaden resources and increase awareness of the pro-life mission. In addition, the director will prepare executive reports, manage the annual budget with leadership, and oversee all Center for Excellence activities to ensure they are professional, mission-aligned, and effective.

This position will also involve creating efficient workflows, tracking KPIs, maintaining accurate records, and using data to improve operations. The director will design learning resources, identify skills and leadership gaps, and build tailored solutions through workshops, seminars, online learning, and written content. Ongoing improvement of training programs will be driven by surveys, performance measures, and feedback. The role includes mentoring clinic leaders, supporting onboarding and ongoing training, and helping clinics strengthen service quality, accountability, and technology readiness.

Working Environment

The position is based onsite in Whitestown, IN and requires the ability to travel. It is a fast-moving role that involves handling multiple priorities, working with a wide range of stakeholders, and maintaining a high level of detail and responsiveness.

Benefits
