They design systems that help all employees thrive and meaningfully contribute, creating sustainable competitive advantage.

About the Learning Team

Their efforts include onboarding, skill enhancement, leadership development, team strengthening, and nurturing a collaborative, high-performance culture aligned to Affirm’s business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the Learning team by crafting a compelling strategy and managing design and delivery of programs to enhance individual, team, and leadership capabilities that support a culture of high performance.
  • Collaborate closely with People team members, leaders, and business stakeholders to ensure clear communication, understanding, and adoption of learning initiatives for consistent improvement and long-term advantage.
  • Work cross-functionally with teams like Talent Management and Organizational Effectiveness to shape future programming, develop employee capabilities, and prepare the workforce for evolving business needs.
  • Develop engaging communication and change management plans to support the People & Organizational Success strategy, including creating internal content.
  • Establish, track, and communicate meaningful success metrics to stakeholders, demonstrating the impact and value of learning investments and programs.

Desired Qualifications

  • Proven experience designing and implementing comprehensive learning and development strategies in a growing global organization with over 2500 employees.
  • Over 15 years of expertise encompassing learning and leadership development, team leadership, design thinking, experiential learning, and measurable outcomes.
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven mindset for evidence-based decision-making and influencing stakeholders.
  • Innovative approach to learner experience and instructional modalities, including micro-learning and virtual formats, learner journeys, and evaluation of learning effectiveness.
  • Experience managing learning technology platforms in partnership with People Tech teams and external vendors to continually enhance systems and tools.
  • Superior communication skills capable of distilling complex information into clear, straightforward messages.
  • A continuous improvement mindset that embraces experimentation and refinement over pursuit of perfection.
