Position Overview

We seek an influential executive to spearhead our Investigations Division’s growth from our central Indianapolis office. This opportunity requires not just remote capability but active local engagement to strengthen ties within the Indianapolis business community and enjoy the region’s favorable living conditions.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Direct daily operations of investigative teams including oversight of contract investigators (1099 contractors) and case intake processes.
  • Manage division financials, including budgeting, monitoring case profitability, and enhancing growth margins.
  • Serve as an ambassador for Lauth Investigations by representing the company at industry conferences and networking events locally and statewide.
  • Lead efforts to expand client reach through marketing initiatives and by utilizing CRM and AI technologies.

Candidate Profile

  • Currently residing in or willing to relocate to Indianapolis to provide hands-on leadership.
  • Forward-thinking with a strong inclination toward innovative investigative approaches and emerging technologies.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for handling sensitive matters with tact and building enduring professional relationships.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited U.S. institution; MBA is advantageous.
  • Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in law enforcement (ideally at commander level) or senior corporate roles.
  • At least 5 years experience in investigations and surveillance operations.
  • Demonstrated competence in financial management, including budget oversight, labor KPI evaluation, and maintaining operational profitability.
  • Valid driver's license with flexibility to be available around the clock and undertake frequent travel as duties demand.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
