Overview
We are seeking an experienced Licensed Nurse to join our leadership team as the Director of Inservice Education. This role is ideal for someone with strong clinical skills, particularly in senior healthcare and rehabilitation, who thrives on organizing and delivering employee education programs. The candidate must be adept at training staff on essential topics and skills to uphold high standards of resident care and facility operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and coordinate ongoing educational programs for employees to enhance their job performance and compliance.
- Lead the onboarding process for new hires, supporting their integration and training.
- Maintain accurate training records ensuring all educational activities meet Federal, State, and company policies.
- Oversee timely renewal of nurse licenses, QMA, and CNA certifications.
- Ensure required BNA and QMA classes are available and completed in accordance with regulations.
Candidate Requirements
- Licensed nurse in Indiana, with a minimum of one year of experience in long-term care; Registered Nurse applicants preferred.
- Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- Professional demeanor in appearance and conduct.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a dedicated team.
