Job description
Position Summary
The Director of Growth and Integration leads strategic initiatives to expand and enhance the Tampa General Provider Network (TGPN). This executive position drives network growth, supports physician and practice integration, and fosters partnerships aimed at strengthening TGPN's market presence throughout Florida. Reporting to the Senior Vice President and COO of TGPN, this role serves as a pivotal connection among executive leadership, medical staff, operational units, and external collaborators to successfully implement organizational growth priorities.
Core Responsibilities
- Direct expansion strategies to broaden TGPN's footprint in key geographic markets.
- Assess and support potential partners, affiliations, and acquisitions aligned with long-term network objectives.
- Oversee physician and practice integration processes ensuring smooth operational, clinical, and cultural assimilation.
- Collaborate with leaders across operations to formulate, standardize, and deploy workflows and operating policies.
- Work alongside clinical and quality teams to roll out initiatives enhancing care coordination, patient outcomes, and network efficiency.
- Act as main liaison among physician groups, administrators, TGPN divisions, legal teams, and other stakeholders throughout initiatives.
- Manage multiple concurrent high-impact projects by setting timelines, tracking milestones, anticipating risks, and facilitating timely delivery.
- Create executive-level reports, dashboards, presentations, and analyses to assess growth opportunities and guide strategic decisions.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts focused on operational efficiency, scalability, and consistent network functions.
- Maintain strong, collaborative relationships with physicians, healthcare executives, legal advisors, community partners, and others essential for achieving organizational goals.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Public Health, or related discipline is mandatory.
- Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration (MHA), Business Administration (MBA), or closely related field is preferred.
- At least five years of leadership experience in healthcare project management, ideally involving hospital operations or physician alignment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Proven track record leading growth strategies, developing partnerships, aligning physicians, business development, and managing complex negotiations.
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare operations, physician practice management, clinical integration, and expanding provider networks.
- Strong project management prowess capable of handling multiple complex initiatives efficiently in dynamic settings.
- Excellent communication, presentation skills, and ability to manage relationships at the executive level.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across leadership, medical, operational, legal, and external parties.
- Advanced analytical and strategic thinking skills, with experience transforming data insights into actionable business outcomes.
- Results-driven leadership style with a continuous improvement mindset and demonstrated influence on organizational change.
