Job description
Company Overview
Presman & Colard International Advisory is a globally recognized consulting firm that helps organizations grow, improve structure, and scale through franchising and strategic alliances. Founded to help businesses reach overlooked opportunities and remove obstacles to lasting growth, the company works with clients across a wide range of industries and regions.
With a presence in London, Dubai, Calgary, Kuwait, Egypt, and Thailand, the advisory team partners with international businesses and delivers customized guidance that blends worldwide business perspective with local market understanding. The organization promotes a professional, inclusive culture centered on meaningful outcomes and durable client partnerships.
Role Overview
The Director of Franchise Operations is a remote contract position focused on strengthening franchise performance and operational consistency across multiple markets. The role calls for someone who can define and roll out operating standards, track compliance, and coach franchise partners on proven practices and performance gains.
On a day-to-day basis, the role includes assessing business plans, interpreting location-level financial results, supporting training initiatives, and helping franchisees with budgeting, forecasting, and expansion planning. The position also requires close collaboration with internal advisory teams to improve franchise frameworks, protect brand consistency, and reduce operational risk.
This is a hands-on leadership role that demands clear communication with international stakeholders and the capability to manage multi-site operations in an organized, evidence-based way.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate brings experience in business planning and budgeting, with the ability to advise franchisees on financial performance, forecasting, and allocation of resources.
A strong background in franchising is essential, including franchise development, operational standards, compliance, and relationship management.
Experience leading multi-unit operations is important, along with a track record of delivering consistent results across several locations or territories.
Training expertise is also needed, especially in building and delivering operational, systems, and compliance training for franchise teams.
Knowledge of strategic partnerships, growth planning, and international business operations is an added advantage.
The role requires excellent analysis, communication, and stakeholder management abilities, together with the independence to work effectively in a remote contract setting.
Leadership experience in franchise operations or retail/consumer services is preferred, and consulting or advisory exposure would be beneficial.
A bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related discipline is required; advanced credentials or professional certifications in franchising or operations are preferred.
Additional Information
This position is a contract role and can be performed remotely from Canada.
