Role Overview
We are seeking an accomplished Director of Financial Planning and Analysis to join a globally renowned brand licensing and consumer products company based in London. This key leadership position involves spearheading global planning, forecasting, and performance management efforts within a dynamic international setting. The role reports to senior finance leadership and significantly influences commercial strategy through insightful financial analysis.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning for the global organization.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive three-statement financial models, including profit & loss, balance sheet, and cash flow.
- Collaborate with senior commercial leaders to facilitate strategic decision-making and drive revenue growth.
- Manage global headcount planning and resource allocation forecasting.
- Prepare board-level reports, deliver commercial insights, and conduct performance evaluations.
- Lead initiatives in finance transformation, automation, and process enhancement.
- Supervise and develop an international FP&A team while coordinating with finance peers across Europe, Asia, and North America.
Qualifications and Experience
- Qualified accountant designation such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent with substantial post-qualification experience in FP&A within a complex international environment.
- Proven expertise in financial modeling and advanced Excel functionality.
- Extensive experience managing financial planning and forecasting processes.
- Strong commercial insight and effective business partnering capabilities.
- Ability to confidently influence senior-level stakeholders.
- Keen interest in process improvements and the adoption of new technologies.
- Experience with Power BI and Power Query is highly beneficial.
Additional Information
- This is an 18-month contract role commencing on or before September 1, with a strong prospect of transitioning to permanent employment.
- Salary range is £90,000 to £95,000 per annum.
