As the Director of Cultural Experiences, you will lead the development, execution, and management of culturally authentic events and activities on-site that embody The Outrigger Way — blending host, guest, and place values. You will advise senior leadership on culturally relevant operational procedures and contribute expertise on marketing, artistic representations, retail, architecture, and landscaping to ensure cultural appropriateness and alignment with brand values.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and oversee creative cultural programming benefiting guests and staff that aligns with the brand and delivers cost effectiveness.
• Provide guidance to the General Manager and executive team on culturally appropriate operational practices and communications.
• Collaborate with marketing and property teams to ensure cultural relevance in materials, artwork, products, and design elements.
• Forge and sustain productive partnerships within the local community to enhance cultural awareness and establish the property as a cultural leader.
• Represent the company externally as a spokesperson regarding cultural initiatives when requested.
