Role Overview
We are searching for a Soccer Teams Director to lead and support all teams within the Hudson Valley region. The position reports to senior leadership and interacts across all organizational levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and manage budgets for Steel Sports teams and the club overall.
- Oversee player registration, fee collection, and financial accountability for each team.
- Manage and provide leadership to Assistant Teams Directors and all head and assistant coaches, including performance reviews and hiring.
- Coordinate with senior leadership on national program integration, and attend annual summits of regional directors.
- Lead marketing, sales, and advertising strategies to grow club participation and extend outreach within the local geography.
- Engage with community partners, sponsorships, and fundraising efforts alongside the Social Impact and Brand teams.
- Establish and ensure adherence to operational best practices across all teams, including scheduling, tryouts, equipment procurement, and uniform management.
- Support the Steel Sports Coaching System and Player Development Plan, ensuring coach compliance with safety and developmental standards.
- Occasionally coach teams as regional needs dictate and perform additional duties as assigned.
