About the Role
Sacred Heart Girls' College, a Catholic community enriched by the Our Lady of the Missions charism, values each student's uniqueness and gifts. We are looking for a strategic and seasoned business leader to assume the position of Director of Business Operations. Reporting directly to the Principal, this role oversees key business areas such as finance, governance, risk and compliance, facilities and asset management, ICT, administration, procurement, and capital works, ensuring operational efficiency, sustainability, and effective financial management aligned with future infrastructure planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational leadership over the College’s business functions.
- Ensure strong financial stewardship and robust internal business processes.
- Contribute actively as part of the College Leadership Team in strategic planning, decision-making, implementation, and reviewing progress aligned with College objectives.
- Lead governance, risk management, compliance, and asset management to promote sustainability and efficiency.
- Oversee ICT initiatives and digital transformation efforts.
- Manage multidisciplinary professional teams ensuring effective stakeholder engagement and communication.
Candidate Criteria
- Demonstrate commitment to Catholic values, mission, and vision.
- Exhibit executive leadership experience with strong strategic planning skills.
- Hold extensive expertise in financial leadership ensuring long-term organizational sustainability.
- Possess knowledge of governance, enterprise risk management, and compliance practices.
- Experience managing property, capital projects, facilities, and assets.
- Proven ability to lead ICT and guide digital transformation.
- Display outstanding communication skills for engaging various stakeholders.
- Uphold professional integrity, sound judgement, and commitment to child safety.
Qualifications and Experience
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Commerce, Business, or Management.
- CPA or CA certification is highly desirable.
- Experience within an educational environment is an advantage.
Additional Information
