The role centers on promoting the company’s global clinical development services, with an emphasis on programs delivered in China and the U.S.
The right candidate will bring a solid understanding of the CRO environment, hands-on experience selling clinical development solutions, and an established network within biotech and pharma organizations. You will act as a trusted partner to current and prospective clients, aligning Clin-nov’s capabilities with their development goals.
Key responsibilities
- Present Clin-nov’s clinical development strengths, operating model, and differentiators clearly to biotech and pharmaceutical prospects.
- Create and implement plans to uncover, pursue, and close new business opportunities while meeting or surpassing sales goals.
- Source leads through outreach, networking, market research, competitor review, and existing professional contacts.
- Develop strong working relationships with both emerging biotech firms and established pharma companies, tailoring solutions to their needs.
- Own or support the full business development cycle, including opportunity screening, client meetings, capability presentations, RFI/RFP response work, proposal preparation, budget discussions, and contract/MSA negotiations.
- Work with internal leaders to prepare bid defenses and ensure messaging is aligned and presentation-ready.
- Stay engaged with current clients to support long-term partnerships and encourage repeat work.
- Bring customer feedback, market movement, competitor insights, and new opportunity signals back to senior leadership as the client’s internal advocate.
- Represent Asymchem Clinical (Clin-nov) at conferences, networking forums, and client visits to strengthen visibility and brand presence.
- Partner cross-functionally with operations, project management, regulatory, medical, and executive teams to shape solutions and support successful client engagement.
- Take on other duties as needed.

- Proven success in selling clinical trial services to biotechnology and pharmaceutical customers.
- A pre-existing network within the U.S. biotech and pharma market is strongly desirable.
- Working knowledge of innovative drug development and clinical trial operations, including proposal development, budgeting, pricing strategy, and timeline planning.
