About the Role

Collicutt Energy Services, a specialized provider of manufacturing, repair, overhaul, and maintenance services for power generation, natural gas compression, industrial engines, and engineered energy solutions, is seeking a strategic executive to lead business growth initiatives. This newly established leadership position reports directly to the President and is responsible for creating and implementing expansion strategies throughout Canada and the United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement business development strategies across North America aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Identify new markets, strategic partnerships, and revenue opportunities for growth.
  • Forge and maintain executive-level relationships with customers, distributors, engineering firms, EPC contractors, and industry partners.
  • Lead market expansion efforts in Canada and the U.S.
  • Construct business cases, analyze growth strategies, and perform ROI evaluations for prospective initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, Engineering, and Service teams to realize growth opportunities successfully.
  • Support pricing strategies, engage in significant customer negotiations, and develop strategic accounts.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor actions, and emerging technologies to anticipate future business opportunities.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to business development and sales teams, fostering a performance-driven culture.
  • Represent the company at industry-related events, conferences, meetings, and executive forums.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of progressive experience in business development, strategic sales, operations, or executive management.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role overseeing teams and driving business growth.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful strategic growth initiatives.
  • Experience cultivating executive-level customer relationships and strategic partnerships.
  • Strong financial and commercial skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and business case creation.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Willingness to travel across Canada and the United States as needed.

Preferred Experience:

  • Background in power generation, natural gas compression, industrial equipment, manufacturing, or energy sectors.
  • Experience expanding markets across Canadian and U.S. territories.
  • Familiarity with engineered products, industrial systems, or energy infrastructure.
  • Leadership of cross-functional strategic projects.
