Key Responsibilities
- Proactively build and manage a sales pipeline targeting in-house legal buyers, including General Counsels (GCs), Chief Legal Officers (CLOs), and legal operations leaders.
- Utilize your personal professional network to develop new business opportunities.
- Conduct targeted outreach through professional networking platforms to identify and engage potential clients.
- Lead qualification and discovery conversations, advancing prospects toward closing deals.
- Revitalize existing client relationships and broaden service offerings within current accounts.
- Assist in crafting proposals and designing tailored solutions for client needs.
- Maintain meticulous CRM records and sales pipeline updates, ensuring consistent follow-up.
- Represent the company with professionalism in all engagements.
Market Analysis and Feedback
- Continuously gather insights on market demands, client challenges, and competitor activities.
- Contribute to shaping marketing strategies and messaging based on direct customer interactions.
- Spot emerging opportunities across various service lines.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- 8 to 15 years of experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management within the legal sector.
- In-depth understanding of the in-house legal market, including the priorities and thought processes of GCs, CLOs, and legal operations executives.
- Established network of contacts among in-house legal buyers and related professionals.
- Preferred background includes experience with ALSPs, legal technology companies, or enterprise legal service providers.
- Proficiency with LinkedIn, Sales Navigator, CRM systems, Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Zoom.
- Consultative sales approach emphasizing active listening and delivering solution-driven outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Highly motivated self-starter capable of autonomous execution and sustained follow-through.
- Dynamic, resourceful, and adaptable to a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting.
