Job description

Overview

As a direct report to the CEO at SCIO Automation in Frankenthal, you will spearhead the development and institutionalization of the SCIO Business System (SBS), embedding Operational Excellence deeply within the company culture. Partnering closely with the CEO, you will translate strategic goals into actionable initiatives, enhance performance transparency, and cultivate leadership capabilities for effective problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and continuously improve the SCIO Business System as a group-wide operating framework.
  • Implement KPI systems, visual management tools, and structured problem-solving methodologies.
  • Embed Lean management practices such as 5 Why, A3, PDCA, Kaizen, and Hoshin Kanri into leadership behaviors and decision-making.
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities for improvements throughout the value chain.
  • Lead Kaizen and transformation projects that deliver measurable business benefits.
  • Coach leaders on data-driven problem resolution and continuous improvement techniques.
  • Support M&A integration efforts by deploying the SCIO Business System.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience in continuous improvement, operational excellence, or lean transformations.
  • Track record of developing or enhancing business systems.
  • Strong expertise in Lean and Continuous Improvement tools including A3, PDCA, Kaizen, Hoshin Kanri, and Value Stream Mapping.
  • Documented success in delivering sustainable operational improvements.
  • Experience engaging with executive management and C-suite leadership.
  • Fluent in both German and English, with professional communication skills.
