Finance & Accounting Team Mission
The Finance & Accounting department plays a crucial role in supporting Klick's growth through robust financial governance, precise reporting, and the development of scalable operational systems. This team collaborates with various organizational units to ensure sound financial decision-making, integrity, and sustainability.
Role Summary
The Director of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) leads and enhances efforts in financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and deriving business insights across Klick. This leadership role requires hands-on involvement with data, building financial models, delivering insightful analyses, and converting findings into strategic business guidance. Partnership with senior Finance leaders and business units is key to enhancing visibility, decisions, and financial outcomes.
Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee the generation of monthly management reporting, executive dashboards, and performance evaluations tailored for senior leadership decision-making, incorporating variance analysis, trending insights, and coherent storytelling with financial data.
- Develop, update, and refine budget, forecast, and cash flow models to provide the organization with proactive financial foresight and strive continually to narrow gaps between projected and actual figures.
- Conduct advanced financial and operational analyses that identify risks and opportunities, offering clear, actionable recommendations and communicating these findings effectively to business leaders.
- Architect and implement scalable reporting systems and automate routine processes via Excel, business intelligence platforms, and AI tools, aiming to reduce manual data preparation time and increase focus on insightful interpretation.
Required Qualifications
- Over 10 years of advancing experience in FP&A or corporate finance in a complex environment, including key responsibilities such as budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, executive reporting, annual planning, and business performance review.
- Expert proficiency in Excel, able to independently craft intricate financial models, rigorously justify all assumptions, and perform scenario analysis to guide decisions.
- Proven ability to transform diverse financial and operational data into persuasive business narratives and strategic recommendations for senior executives and effectively defend such analysis.
- Experience enhancing reporting workflows through automation and AI technologies.
- Background in a professional services setting, knowledgeable in revenue and cost structures centered on personnel.
Preferred Qualifications
- An enthusiasm for integrating artificial intelligence regularly within work processes.
- Professional accounting certification such as CPA or equivalency.
- Leadership experience in mentoring finance teams while maintaining an active role in analytical and operational tasks.
- Contributed to finance system rollouts, reporting structure transformations, or process optimization projects.
- Proficient in preparing high-level executive reporting materials for leadership and business stakeholders.
- Familiarity with ERP platforms like NetSuite.
Additional Details
This role is newly established within Klick. Compensation ranges from $145,000 to $175,000, with the final salary determined by factors including location, individual skills, academic background, and prior experience.
