About the Role
This role operates within Nestlé Professional's Channel Sales & Coffee Operations (CS&CO) division, serving the business-to-business food service market specializing in out-of-home beverage solutions. The portfolio includes renowned brands like Starbucks ('We Proudly Serve'), NESCAFÉ, and Seattle's Best Coffee. The team aims for fast, profitable expansion and enhancing customer business through outstanding branded beverage solutions that boost footfall, spending, and profits.
Located primarily in East Anglia and Milton Keynes with an ideal base in Northampton, this full-time permanent position offers a salary starting from £31,000 dependent on experience, plus a business needs car.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain minimal downtime for Nestlé Professional Direct to Consumer (D2C) coffee machines to ensure constant operational status.
- Ensure all customer sites have accurate stock records; investigate variances, detect trends, and promptly escalate issues requiring corrective action.
- Implement and uphold Nestlé Professional brand standards at all D2C locations; respond proactively to audit outcomes, customer feedback, and execution shortfalls.
- Verify and coach customers on proper cleaning protocols; monitor for repeated non-compliance and intervene when necessary. Support machine uptime via basic troubleshooting and escalate issues effectively.
- Accurately submit all field activity reports through the Project MORE system, using data insights to identify trends and opportunities for enhancement.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders who contribute to or affect performance outcomes.
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous experience in sales support or operations roles.
- Strong organizational abilities, a positive and highly motivated approach.
- Proven ability to build and sustain robust relationships both internally and externally.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing senior stakeholders.
- Capability to operate independently and within teams, comfortably handling ambiguity.
- Track record of delivering consistent results through others.
- High proficiency in presentations, with strong influencing and persuasion skills.
- Effective problem-solving and planning abilities; able to manage workloads under pressure.
- Possession of a full UK driving license with willingness to travel to customer sites in East Anglia and Milton Keynes.
