Diploma Electrical Engineer - Packaging Machinery - Dubai

About the Role

We are seeking a Diploma Electrical Engineer to join a leading packaging company based in Dubai, UAE. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the electrical systems of packaging machines, including filling, sealing, labeling, and conveyor belts. Immediate joiners are preferred for this opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot electrical components of various packaging machinery.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on motors, control panels, sensors, PLCs, and wiring systems.
• Interpret electrical schematics, drawings, and manuals to diagnose and fix faults.
• Support production processes by minimizing electrical downtime.
• Install, test, and commission new electrical equipment and machines as needed.
• Maintain accurate logs for maintenance work, spare parts inventory, and electrical reports.
• Comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) guidelines and company safety standards on the shop floor.
• Collaborate with Mechanical, Production, and Quality teams to ensure seamless operations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in the packaging, FMCG, or manufacturing sector.
• Familiarity with PLCs, Variable Frequency Drives (VFD), relays, contactors, and industrial electrical wiring.
• Sound troubleshooting skills for electrical faults and preventive maintenance.
• Basic understanding of packaging machinery is advantageous.
• Good command of English for effective communication.
