Digital Transformation Director

Role overview

Entreprise Traoré Et Frères (ETEF) SARL is hiring a full-time Digital Transformation Director for an on-site position in Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates. This leader will shape and steer the organization’s digital change agenda, making sure technology investments support business priorities and deliver tangible gains in productivity and growth.

What you will do

You will evaluate existing workflows and systems, identify where digital tools can create value, and work with senior stakeholders to rank and launch transformation initiatives. The role includes overseeing execution, coordinating vendors and external partners, and keeping projects aligned with agreed scope, budget, and timelines. You will also build governance structures, track performance metrics, encourage innovation across the organization, and keep internal and external audiences informed about progress.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate brings deep experience in digital and business transformation, with a history of building and delivering full-scale change strategies. You should be comfortable working with data to draw insights, guide business decisions, and measure performance.

Strong program leadership is needed, including planning multiple initiatives, managing risks, and aligning diverse stakeholders. The role also calls for consulting abilities, such as advising senior leaders, running workshops, and turning business needs into workable technology solutions.

Experience leading cross-functional teams and navigating change in complex environments is important. A solid understanding of digital enablers such as cloud platforms, analytics, automation, and ERP/CRM systems is also expected, along with strong communication skills and cultural awareness.

A bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline is required. A master’s degree or professional credentials such as PMP, Agile, or digital transformation certifications would be an advantage. Prior experience in a similar leadership role focused on transformation or strategy, preferably in regional or international organizations, is preferred.
