Its portfolio includes well-known brands such as Sensodyne, Panadol, Advil, Voltaren, Theraflu, Otrivin, and Centrum. Role overview

The Digital & Tech Specialist will be responsible for delivering and supporting site-based digital workplace and commercial technology services across operating units. This is a hands-on, on-site role focused on helping employees use digital tools effectively, resolving day-to-day technical issues, and ensuring cyber security practices are followed properly at the site.

Serving as the main market contact for Operating Unit Tech Partners, the role connects local operations with central Digital & Tech teams. It helps ensure site requirements, commercial priorities, and day-to-day realities are understood and supported. The position also brings local insight into field force and distributor operations and supports adoption of key platforms such as DMS and SFA.

In addition, the specialist will help capture business needs, support local pilots and digital initiatives, and provide structured service performance reporting to highlight improvement opportunities across both the digital workplace and commercial technology landscape.

Business engagement and commercial support

  • Serve as the main point of contact for OU Tech Partners and help keep site operations, commercial goals, and Digital & Tech priorities aligned.
  • Assist Tech Partners in gathering and explaining local business needs and turning operational issues into clear digital opportunities and priorities.
  • Support steady use, stability, and adoption of commercial platforms such as DMS, SFA, and other field execution tools.
  • Help run pilots, innovations, and local digital initiatives, making sure rollout is smooth and feedback is shared with the right teams.
  • Track site service performance, recurring issues, and user experience trends, then report them to OU Tech Partners and D&T leadership.
  • Use service data and operational insight to spot opportunities for improvement and continuous optimisation.
  • Act as a bridge between business users and D&T teams so local needs and constraints are reflected in decisions.

Operational ownership and service delivery

  • Own the day-to-day technology service performance for the site.
  • Work with D&T teams and external providers to carry out routine checks on critical technology and equipment.
  • Keep local asset records updated in line with Haleon policy and support the full asset lifecycle.
  • Help coordinate planned changes and rollouts such as upgrades, migrations, and new tools, including communication and floor support.
  • Support migration of local applications to global strategic platforms wherever possible.

Incident and problem management

  • Oversee service-level agreements and incident resolution for the site.
  • Act with D&T teams as an escalation point for incidents and recurring problems, following Haleon service management playbooks.
  • Represent the site on incident calls when needed and make sure operational impact is clearly understood.
  • Work with D&T teams and suppliers to resolve repeated issues through permanent fixes and service improvements.
  • Contribute site input to post-incident reviews and improvement discussions, including user impact and local constraints.

Stakeholder and partner management

  • Develop strong relationships with commercial leaders, functional teams, and end users to understand priorities and represent site requirements effectively.
  • Partner with Service Management and MEA Digital & Tech Heads to share site-level feedback on service performance and incident trends.
  • Build productive relationships with D&T functions and third-party providers to support smooth service delivery and issue resolution.
  • Act as a local advocate for D&T initiatives and change, helping drive adoption through on-site engagement.

Training and user enablement

  • Work with central D&T teams to deliver short, practical sessions on tools, policies, and new initiatives.
  • Encourage self-service, use of knowledge articles, and compliance with approved tools and secure workflows.

Site-based digital workplace support

  • Provide hands-on, in-person support for the site’s digital workplace needs.
  • Support conference rooms and shared areas, including AV and hybrid meeting technology.
  • Assist with local onboarding and offboarding technology processes.

Cyber security compliance

  • Act as the on-site contact for cyber security questions and minor incidents, working with the central Cyber Security team.
  • Ensure endpoint protection controls are correctly implemented on site and across local applications.
  • Support correct user access management practices at the site.
  • Detect and escalate suspected security incidents in line with Haleon security procedures.
  • Promote secure working habits across the site.
  • Support cyber security changes at site in coordination with the Cyber team.

Qualifications and experience

A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business informatics, or a related discipline is required. The role calls for 2 to 4 years of experience in IT support, digital workplace operations, or site-based technology support. Candidates should have strong practical experience with Microsoft productivity and collaboration tools as well as video conferencing systems.

Experience with IT service management tools and processes, such as ServiceNow and incident/request handling, is expected. A basic understanding of cyber security principles and secure working practices is important, along with the ability to explain technical topics in business terms to non-technical stakeholders. The role also requires the ability to work effectively with central teams, vendors, and business stakeholders in a matrix environment.

Preferred background

Additional value will come from experience with commercial tools such as DMS, SFA, CRM, or other field execution platforms. Exposure to tech partnering, business partnering, or demand capture work is helpful, especially when gathering requirements and supporting solution discussions.

Experience in reporting, data collection, or service performance tracking is an advantage, as is experience working with third-party service providers. Familiarity with AV systems, meeting room technology, and hybrid working setups is also preferred. Relevant certifications in ITIL, Microsoft, networking, or security would be beneficial. Experience in commercial, FMCG, or regulated environments is a plus. Jeddah-based candidates are preferred.

Equal opportunities

Haleon is committed to building an inclusive workplace that reflects the diverse consumers and communities it serves. The company values different backgrounds and perspectives and aims to create an environment where employees feel respected, supported, and able to belong.

During the application process, candidates may be asked to provide voluntary personal information to help meet regulatory and reporting requirements and to improve inclusion and belonging initiatives. Any information shared will remain confidential and will not be used in hiring decisions.

Adjustments and accommodations

If an applicant needs a reasonable adjustment, accommodation, or any other assistance during the hiring process, they should inform the recruiter with details of the support required. Haleon will provide reasonable support throughout the recruitment process and keep all such information confidential.

The recruitment team will contact candidates from a Haleon email address ending in @haleon.com. If an email appears suspicious or unclear, candidates should verify it directly with the company.
