Position Overview
Mercor is seeking UK-based UX/UI Product Designers for contract work. This role involves creating end-to-end digital product experiences focused on web interfaces and refining user journeys.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive digital product designs emphasizing web interfaces and user flow optimization.
- Ensure smooth transition and collaboration between design and engineering teams for accurate implementation.
- Assess and enhance UX/UI scenarios for e-commerce sites, marketplace platforms, and customer portals.
- Operate independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving product design systems.
- Work closely with product managers and engineers to navigate front-end engineering limitations and adapt to responsive design requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience with UX/UI design on complex web products.
- Strong expertise in e-commerce or marketplace user flow design.
- Hands-on experience designing flows related to checkout, booking, onboarding, or account management.
- Proficient in collaborating with engineering teams during the design-to-development transition.
- Must be a resident of the United Kingdom with legal eligibility to work there.
Preferred Experience
- Background in reputable companies such as Publicis Sapient, Red Badger, Valtech, Kin + Carta, ustwo, or EPAM Continuum is advantageous.
