Job description

About Schier

Schier is recognized as the foremost producer of grease interceptors designed for commercial kitchens across the United States. Though you might not be familiar with the company's name, there is a high likelihood that you have encountered their products daily, perhaps even today. Over the past two decades, Schier has established itself as an industry leader in both product quality and expertise. The aging sewer infrastructure in the US faces serious challenges from kitchen waste—primarily food scraps and grease—that leads to blockages, overflows, and diminished sewer capacity. The upkeep and repair costs associated with these issues cost taxpayers hundreds of millions annually. Schier’s comprehensive and unique approach aims to significantly reduce this problem by preventing food waste from entering sewer systems, thereby extending sewer longevity, saving tens of millions of taxpayer dollars annually, and fostering a cleaner environment.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, or alternatively, at least 5 years of equivalent experience in digital marketing.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of SEO, PPC, UTM parameters, and Google Analytics tools.
  • Experience utilizing CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, and designing email nurturing campaigns.
  • Ability to track, measure, and articulate campaign performance findings clearly to multiple stakeholders.

  • Proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Proven success developing campaigns with targeted funnel-specific touchpoints, assets, and calls-to-action driving desired customer behaviors.
  • Capability to create brand-consistent content using Adobe software and/or Canva, under managerial guidance.
  • Openness to receiving constructive feedback aimed at continuous professional growth.
  • Preferred: experience with Salesforce CRM and Marketing Cloud Account Engagement, basic HTML knowledge, familiarity with B2B marketing, Agile/Scrum project management experience, and basic photo and video shooting and editing skills.

Compensation and Benefits

Schier’s compensation philosophy prioritizes employee service balance by integrating paid time off, competitive remuneration, a measured work pace, benefits, plus a distinct opportunity to build wealth through the company's 100% Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) structure.
