Overview

Bath College is seeking a dedicated Digital Marketing Officer to join its Marketing Team on a permanent full-time basis at its dual campus in Somerset, England. This role involves supporting the college's marketing functions, creating high-quality marketing campaigns and materials, managing media and PR activities, and ensuring exceptional service to all users. The position reports to Matt Basham and offers a salary between £28,682 and £32,187 annually for a 37-hour workweek throughout the year.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with coordinating and planning the college’s marketing strategies, introducing innovative ideas to help achieve recruitment targets.
  • Develop and implement a variety of engaging marketing campaigns and materials relevant to the college’s mission.
  • Create short-form video content for social media platforms to boost engagement.
  • Maintain and organize a comprehensive content library.
  • Continuously update the college’s website and other digital channels with appealing and professional content suitable for diverse audiences.
  • Monitor and manage social networking sites for the college.
  • Collaborate with Schools and Events Officers and internal departments to plan and deliver effective college events and marketing initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

  • At least one year of digital marketing experience, either in an agency or client setting; experience in further education (FE) sector is highly valued.
  • Degree or Level 4 qualification, or equivalent, in Marketing, Public Relations, Event Management, or related fields.
  • Minimum GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths.
  • Strong IT capabilities with familiarity with relevant marketing and digital systems.
  • Up-to-date understanding of current marketing best practices.
