Digital Learning Projects Specialist

About the Role

Based at CHANEL's House of Learning in London, this position reports to the Senior Lead of Learning & Development. It is an 18-month fixed-term, full-time contract designed to lead and execute a wide range of dynamic digital learning projects across Retail and Corporate sectors at CHANEL. The role focuses on innovating and evolving the digital learning environment to enhance engagement and support transformational change within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and contribute to strategic digital learning projects for multiple divisions including Fragrance & Beauty, Fashion, Watches & Fine Jewellery, and Corporate during the contract term.
• Manage regional and global initiatives such as digital learning experience transformation, onboarding enhancements, AI-driven learning development, and global compliance projects.
• Define, communicate, and ensure achievement of all project milestones in alignment with portfolio timelines.
• Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to promote change management and adoption of new digital learning solutions.
• Regularly update key stakeholders on project progress through detailed reports.
• Develop comprehensive handover documentation and knowledge transfer plans starting at least three months before contract completion to guarantee seamless business continuity.
• Support maintenance and evolution of existing digital learning materials including e-learning modules, webinars, and related resources.
• Work with subject matter experts to keep training content accurate, relevant, and aligned with organizational objectives.
• Analyze training data to identify improvement opportunities and adjust learning programs accordingly.
• Advise and assist colleagues with digital learning resources, tools, and best practices.
• Support trainers across the company to ensure they are equipped to deliver impactful digital training.
• Promote a culture of continuous learning and development within CHANEL.

Candidate Profile

• Experience managing digital learning projects in a corporate setting with proven success delivering complex, multi-stream projects on strict deadlines.
• Strong background in digital content design and development, demonstrating a record of creating engaging, high-quality learning solutions.
• Proficient in data analysis to inform strategic decisions and improve learning outcomes.
• Knowledge of learning management systems, digital onboarding, and emerging technologies including AI in learning.
• Excellent project management skills with capacity to juggle multiple workstreams simultaneously.
• Outstanding communication abilities, adept at engaging with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Passionate about learning and development with a solid understanding of current trends and digital training best practices.
• Collaborative, agile, proactive, highly organized, and able to work independently.
• Motivated by design, technology, innovation, AI, and the future of learning with a desire to create meaningful and impactful learning experiences.

Additional Information
