Role Overview

We are looking to hire a talented 2D digital artist who is passionate about designing captivating and child-friendly visuals for games and digital toys. The ideal candidate will contribute to crafting well-composed scenes and concise symbol-based animations that delight young players. This role involves participating in all game development phases including ideation, concept creation, testing, and refinement.

Contract Details

This is a contract position lasting two months with the possibility of extension or transition to full-time employment based on performance and need.

Key Responsibilities and Qualifications

• Create compelling 2D art and animations that appeal to children.
• Use a strong understanding of 2 and 3 point perspective and character anatomy for effective visual storytelling.
• Apply experience in children's media illustration and animation, storyboarding skills are a plus.
• Use vector-based illustration tools and 2D animation software proficiently.
• Operate Adobe Creative Suite or Creative Cloud applications, especially Illustrator, Flash, and Photoshop.
• Demonstrate a portfolio of commercial-quality visual work, including apps, cartoons, or websites.
• Work efficiently in a dynamic and entrepreneurial work setting.
• Be deeply motivated to create joyful experiences that make kids smile globally.
