Role overview

This remote hourly contract role is for a fine artist with experience in painting, sculpture, illustration, or related creative disciplines. The position involves producing original work and using artistic judgment to help support AI-focused creative tasks.

Compensation and working arrangement

Pay is set at $49 to $98 per hour. The commitment is flexible, ranging from 10 to 40 hours each week, and the work can be performed remotely from the United Kingdom.

What you will do

• Develop and refine original artwork through both conventional and digital methods.
• Use color, composition, perspective, and other visual principles to assist AI training efforts.
• Work with cross-functional partners to clarify artistic goals and expected outputs.
• Observe creative workflows and document them in a way that supports AI learning and model enhancement.
• Keep a strong portfolio current with a range of artistic styles and pieces.
• Explain artistic ideas, techniques, and methods clearly in both spoken and written communication.
• Contribute to AI-led creative projects and broader visual content development initiatives.

What we are looking for

• Proven background in fine arts, including illustration, painting, sculpture, or a closely related area.
• Comfort using both traditional media and digital tools, along with design software.
• Solid grasp of visual storytelling, composition, and core artistic techniques.
• Strong communication skills for both written and verbal exchange.
• Ability to collaborate productively with creative and technical teams.
• High attention to detail and a practical approach to creative problem-solving.
• Genuine interest in the overlap between art and artificial intelligence.
