Job Overview
We are looking for a Diet Technician to deliver nutritional care within an eldercare environment focused on residents, mostly between ages 62 to over 85 years, along with some younger adults.
Primary Responsibilities
- Deliver dietary services that uphold the autonomy and respect of elderly residents.
- Express empathy and effective communication towards residents' wellbeing.
- Make swift decisions during emergency situations.
- Collaborate efficiently as part of an autonomous team.
Qualifications and Skills
- Associate degree in dietetic technology from an ADA-approved institution.
- Certification as a Registered Dietetic Technician.
- Strong oral and written communication skills with precise documentation ability.
- Supervisory, nutrition, and food service experience is advantageous.
- High attention to detail, emotional stamina, and competence with required tools and equipment.
