Role Overview
Join Access as a Destruction Center Specialist, where you will play a vital role in ensuring efficient and secure processing and destruction of sensitive materials. This hands-on role involves operating machinery and managing physical tasks, offering both responsibility and physical activity daily.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare bins and boxes containing confidential documents for shredding.
- Sort materials by grade, removing and discarding rubbish appropriately.
- Operate shredding machines by transferring sorted documents for destruction.
- Organize shredded materials for delivery to recycling vendors.
- Support Transportation Specialists by loading and unloading company vehicles as needed.
- Carry out additional assignments and projects as directed by the supervisor.
Candidate Profile
- Capable of handling physical tasks involving lifting materials up to 60 pounds.
- Possess 1 to 2 years of prior experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
- Certification for forklift and/or pick lift operation is considered advantageous.
- Minimum education of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
