Job description

Overview

Amazon’s Reputation Marketing & Insights team is hiring a broadly capable, AI-savvy designer who can create and deliver campaign assets across digital, video, social, out-of-home, and emerging formats. This is a hands-on generalist role for someone who works quickly, thinks flexibly, and uses generative AI as a regular part of the creative process to expand ideas and accelerate output.

The role is best suited to a creative operator who can move from concepting to execution without getting stuck in one specialty. You may be building AI-assisted storyboards in the morning, shaping a video direction in the afternoon, and adapting the work into social-ready assets by the end of the day. The team values speed, experimentation, and practical creative thinking over over-polished one-off solutions.

This position is not for someone who wants to stay in a single lane such as only motion or only social. The team works iteratively, often without fully detailed briefs, and expects AI to be embedded in everyday creative development rather than treated as a side experiment.

Key Responsibilities

You will help develop and produce campaign creative across digital, social, video, and out-of-home channels, using AI to improve ideation and build visual references. The work will involve daily use of generative tools to produce storyboards, reference images, mood boards, motion directions, and quick prototypes.

You will also create across multiple formats, including social toolkits, rough video edits, transit or OOH mockups, and presentation decks. In addition, you will help define and uphold visual standards for both AI-generated and AI-assisted materials so the brand stays consistent as tools change.

Collaboration is a major part of the job. You will work with producers, copywriters, agencies, and Creative Leads to turn concepts into finished assets, determine when work should be handed off, and when it should be completed internally. You will also adapt and version creative for different audiences, markets, and placements while preserving the core idea.

The role includes helping improve the team’s creative workflows, sharing effective AI practices, and helping teammates grow their own use of generative tools. Because the team works on reputation timelines rather than product launch schedules, you should be comfortable delivering work quickly and operating well in ambiguity.

About the Team

The team uses multiple data sources to understand how to reach audiences most effectively. It follows the data while still challenging it when needed, and focuses on communicating brand truths through thoughtful, channel-specific creative. The group aims to deliver persuasive return on investment for every dollar spent, with marketing plans and measurement methods designed to drive real-world outcomes.

Qualifications

You should have a strong online portfolio that demonstrates visual design ability, advertising work across multiple media and platforms, and a clear design process. Strong understanding of typography and brand design is required, as is experience presenting creative ideas to senior executives.

Applicants should have at least 5 years of design experience across multiple formats, not just one specialty. You must also be fluent in generative AI tools for image, video, or design workflows, with the specific tools being less important than adaptability and practical use. Experience working alongside video teams is expected, even if you are not the editor yourself. You should also be comfortable taking a strategic direction and figuring out the visuals without a highly detailed brief.

Preferred Experience

Extra value will be given to candidates who understand how marketing, production, or creative departments operate. Experience in brand reputation, corporate communications, or advocacy campaigns is also a plus, along with a history of setting up creative processes for a small team. Light video editing or motion graphics ability is helpful as well.

Additional Information

Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate based on protected veteran status, disability, or any other legally protected status.

If you need an accommodation or workplace adjustment during the application, interview, or onboarding process, support is available through Amazon’s hiring accommodation process.

The role includes a competitive compensation package that may include sign-on payments and restricted stock units, along with comprehensive benefits such as health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, parental leave, and other employee support programs.
