About the Role
Join adidas as a Designer focused on lifestyle products for Originals Kids. This position is part of an international creative team working collaboratively with marketing and development to create market-relevant products. The role involves designing and developing innovative concepts and ensuring the seamless transition of ideas into detailed product development, adhering to adidas’ corporate identity and product visual language.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and evolve design solutions fitting the assigned category, presenting concepts aligned with the category direction.
- Translate creative visions into comprehensive product ranges within the category.
- Manage your own design process, executing work according to established design languages and corporate guidelines.
- Deliver clear verbal presentations of product ideas and specifications.
- Facilitate smooth communication between design, marketing, and development teams within cross-functional groups.
- Prepare detailed sketches and documentation including fabric, trims, artworks, and other essentials for development handover.
- Skillfully visualize product and range concepts using high expertise, including 3D representations and digital assets supporting development and decision making.

Required Knowledge and Skills
- In-depth understanding of fashion design, industrial product, or industrial design principles.
- Excellent presentation and communication capabilities.
- Strong familiarity with product development processes, materials, and trims relevant to the product range.
- Creative passion and a high degree of originality.
- Proficiency with Macintosh-based design software, including Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Fluent English communication skills, both spoken and written.
- Advanced 3D design skills and experience with virtual tools such as Clo3D, Browzwear, VStitcher, Rhino, Modo, ICAD Pro, or comparable applications.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Design or Industrial Product Engineering from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of three years’ hands-on design experience within footwear, apparel, accessories, industrial design, fashion design, or related creative fields.
