Role Summary

This position is focused on providing civil survey drafting and technical assistance within a specialized drafting area. The role demands well-developed technical abilities to handle tasks ranging from moderate to complex drafting projects. Responsibilities

• Create detailed civil survey plans, drawings, and diagrams under the guidance of senior personnel.
• Collect essential project data from designated sources to aid drafting processes.
• Monitor the status and quality of assigned work, ensuring all tasks meet project guidelines.
• Work cooperatively with team members to ensure smooth communication and workflow.
• Employ fundamental problem-solving strategies to resolve routine drafting issues.
• Support enhancement of processes by adhering to established standards and procedures.
• Assist in updating and revising drawings to reflect project changes or feedback.
• Effectively juggle multiple assignments, prioritizing tasks based on deadlines and client requirements.
• Keep comprehensive records of work performed and related project documentation.
• Participate in team meetings and technical discussions to maintain project consistency.

Qualifications

• Between 2 and 5 years of experience in drafting, with solid knowledge of drafting fundamentals.
• High school diploma or equivalent certification (GED) is necessary.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting software tools.
• Background in at least one drafting specialty such as civil/structural, piping/mechanical, or electrical/instrumentation.
• Capability to work autonomously on straightforward assignments and with moderate supervision on complex tasks.
• Strong focus on detail and good analytical skills.
• Effective communication and ability to work collaboratively within teams.
• Proven dependability and accountability in prior roles.
• Flexibility to adjust to project demands and compliance with standardized procedures.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%, based on assignment requirements.

Compensation and Work Arrangement

The position offers an hourly wage ranging from 30 to 40 dollars. It features a hybrid work model combining remote work with in-office collaboration to support team interaction and project needs.
