About the Role

Migration Star is expanding its marketing capability and is seeking a Design & Marketing Manager to lead the team and take end-to-end ownership of content, social media, and campaign delivery. This is a remote position available to candidates anywhere in Australia.

Reporting to the Principal Agent, you will define the marketing direction, coordinate the people responsible for producing and publishing content, and ensure all output remains polished, accurate, and aligned with the brand and compliance requirements of a registered migration practice. The role combines creative execution with team leadership, requiring someone who can think strategically and also review the finer details of a carousel or campaign asset.

Key Working Relationships

• Principal Agent, who provides business direction and compliance oversight
• Marketing team members handling content creation and publishing
• Operations Manager, with coordination around CRM, lead flow, and reporting

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the marketing team by setting priorities, allocating work, and supporting team development
• Own the marketing strategy and turn it into a structured content and campaign plan
• Manage the weekly publishing calendar across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, and ensure deadlines are met
• Supervise the production of branded graphics, carousels, reels, and educational content while maintaining quality and brand standards
• Oversee email marketing and nurture workflows in HubSpot, and manage website content through the HubSpot CMS
• Work with the Operations Manager to keep CRM activity, lead management, and reporting aligned with marketing efforts
• Monitor campaign and content performance, report outcomes to the Principal Agent, and adjust plans based on results
• Coordinate with external contractors or freelancers when required
• Ensure all published material complies with Australian Consumer Law and migration advertising rules, using compliance guidance from the Principal Agent

Requirements

• Proven experience managing or leading marketing activity, with a history of delivering content and campaigns
• Strong understanding of social media and content marketing across several platforms
• Practical skills in design tools such as Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud, sufficient to guide and review the team’s work
• Experience with email marketing and marketing automation, preferably HubSpot
• Excellent written English and careful attention to detail, with Australian English standards
• Strong organisational ability to handle people, projects, and deadlines using tools such as Asana
• Full working rights in Australia

Preferred Background

• Experience in marketing for migration, education, legal, or other professional services businesses
• Exposure to regulated or compliance-sensitive marketing environments
• Experience managing a small team or working with freelancers
• Interest in migration and international education
