Outside Life and SkiSync are built by outdoor enthusiasts devoted to creating memorable ski experiences for students across North America. Internship Duration and Schedule

  • The internship is scheduled from May 2026 to September 2026, with a possibility of extension.
  • Certain tasks may involve preparation for winter programs following this core period.

Compensation and Academic Credit

  • The internship may be compensated or unpaid for academic credit, based on the candidate's academic eligibility.
  • Paid interns receive $20 per hour.
  • For-credit interns engage in a structured experience aligned with their college or university's credit requirements.

Role Overview

The intern will assist the in-house designer by creating and organizing marketing and trip assets for various platforms including social media, email, print, itineraries, and on-mountain events. Tasks include building templates and managing design files via production workflows from initial briefings through feedback to final outputs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Resize, retouch, and prepare photos and files for both digital and print using Photoshop.
  • Maintain and update active design files and develop reusable templates with Illustrator, InDesign, and Figma.
  • Create marketing materials spanning social media, emails, print, itineraries, and merchandise production.
  • Keep a well-organized digital asset library to ensure brand consistency.
  • Manage project details and deadlines through Slack, Monday.com, and Google Workspace tools.
  • Optionally assist in basic video editing or motion graphics utilizing Premiere and After Effects.
  • Participate in weekly meetings to discuss progress, priorities, and feedback.

Candidate Requirements

  • A portfolio link must accompany the application.
  • Currently enrolled in a Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related design program.
  • A minimum commitment of 10 hours weekly.
  • Availability to collaborate during standard business hours Monday through Friday, with schedules arranged beforehand.
  • Ability to provide weekly updates aligned with internship goals and hours.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective time management.
  • Capability to handle multiple projects and adhere to tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency with design tools: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Figma required; After Effects and Premiere Pro are advantageous.
  • Experience with collaboration platforms including Google Drive, Google Slides, Google Calendar, Slack, and Monday.com.

Travel and Onsite Expectations

There may be optional travel opportunities for certain programs or events with prior notice regarding timing and lodging/transport arrangements based on intern availability.
