Role Overview
The Design and Marketing Specialist works full-time on-site at the Perth Subiaco location, with partial flexibility for remote work. This role is responsible for creating visual materials for both digital and print channels that adhere to brand standards and strategic marketing goals. Supporting senior consultants, the specialist will convert strategic plans into compelling visual communications. Daily activities involve conducting relevant research to enhance design and messaging approaches, reviewing existing marketing assets and data, preparing frameworks and presentations, drafting content and layouts, and aiding in the design of digital user experiences such as websites, landing pages, and social media content. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and clients is critical to ensure branding consistency, timely project delivery, and superior quality output.
Key Qualifications and Skills
- Advanced skills in visual and graphic design, evidenced by a robust portfolio highlighting brand and program work.
- Competence in research methodologies to drive design choices, understand audience insights, and support marketing strategies.
- Knowledge of digital and brand experience structural design, including information hierarchy, layout composition, and user navigation flows.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Figma.
- Excellent communication and collaborative abilities for effective teamwork with consultants, clients, and diverse internal teams.
- Meticulous attention to detail coupled with strong time management and multi-project coordination in a dynamic work environment.
- Formal education in Design, Marketing, Communications, or a comparable field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Prior experience within digital marketing, agency, or consulting sectors is a desirable advantage.
