Role Overview

This full-time remote Dermatology position is dedicated to delivering superior skin care through virtual assessments and follow-ups. Daily tasks involve performing thorough dermatological evaluations, analyzing patient histories, diagnosing and treating various skin ailments, and recommending suitable therapeutic interventions. The role also includes interpreting laboratory and imaging findings, maintaining detailed electronic health records, and coordinating multidisciplinary care when necessary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive dermatological examinations and assessments remotely.
  • Review patient medical histories and interpret relevant diagnostic tests.
  • Diagnose and manage a range of dermatological conditions affecting skin, hair, and nails.
  • Prescribe appropriate treatments and monitor patient progress through digital follow-ups.
  • Document clinical encounters accurately in electronic health record systems.
  • Provide patient education focused on skincare strategies, preventative measures, and treatment options.
  • Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines, teledermatology protocols, and quality improvement projects.
  • Collaborate with administrative and clinical teams to enhance patient access, safety, and satisfaction.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Medical degree with specialized training in dermatology, including residency completion or equivalent.
  • Current licensure aligned with local regulatory standards for practicing dermatology.
  • Expertise in diagnosing and managing common and complex skin, hair, and nail disorders.
  • Proficient in telemedicine practices including virtual patient assessments and digital health record management.
  • Excellent communication abilities to ensure respectful, clear, and culturally sensitive engagement with patients remotely.
  • Capable of working independently while effectively collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
  • Demonstrated commitment to evidence-based practice, ongoing education, and adherence to professional ethics.
  • Experience or strong interest in public/community healthcare, especially serving diverse or underserved populations.
  • Comfortable utilizing digital telehealth platforms with awareness of data privacy and security standards.
