Deputy Vice President of Department

Key Responsibilities

• Engage in strategic planning discussions at the Group level and support the President by proposing recommendations for both domestic and international business growth directions.
• Assist the President with key decisions concerning major projects and significant operational matters that arise daily.
• Help devise the comprehensive technology development strategy and targets for the Well Completion Industrial Group by considering the group's technical requirements and both local and international industry landscapes.
• Coordinate resources to monitor emerging technology trends, drive new research and development initiatives, and lead efforts to improve and expand technical capabilities.
• Support the President in enhancing current technologies while overseeing the incubation, introduction, and promotion of new technological advancements.
• Contribute to the development of recruitment strategies and talent structure optimization for the Well Completion Industrial Group, guiding and supervising recruitment, team formation, and talent development initiatives.
• Oversee daily management of key client accounts, maintain strong customer relationships, and resolve significant issues to enhance customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Possess a bachelor's degree or higher in Petroleum Engineering, Oil & Gas Field Development, or a related discipline.
• More than 10 years of experience in well completion roles, including at least 5 years in managerial capacities, managing cross-departmental functions or multifunctional teams.
• Strong abilities in decision-making and problem-solving, capable of making sound judgments in complex scenarios.
• Comprehensive understanding of well completion processes; aware of market dynamics, competitor activities, and customer demands. Possess technical or professional expertise in areas like product management or sales strategy related to well completion.
• Proficient in English for business negotiations; additional foreign language skills are advantageous.
• Knowledgeable in project management methodologies and tools, able to plan, implement, and monitor projects effectively.
• Demonstrates innovative mindset with the ability to suggest new concepts and strategies to foster department growth.
